More About Me

Growing up in the Twin Cities, I wanted to be many things. Whether it was an astronaut or TV weatherman, none involved homes.

Most of what I was taught in school didn’t interest me from a young age. I went to college because I didn’t think I had other options. It sure wasn’t real estate. Once I graduated, I got a 9-5 office job because that’s what I was supposed to do.

I was miserable. I spent years choosing unhappiness and making my life as hard as possible. A blessing in disguise came when the corporation I had been working for laid me off.

I had an “a-ha” moment when a friend texted me about a Wolves game I hadn’t even known was being played. Like most nights, I was watching HGTV, not sports. It occurred to me that I should try my hand at real estate and get licensed.

I realized that this career was what I had been looking for since I was a teenager. Every day is different and brings new challenges. I always meet interesting people, and I get to help others.
